ELLIETTE CHANEZON
Eliette Chanezon is a poet from Paris, raised in San Francisco. She recently graduated from the NYU Gallatin School of Independent Study where she pursued an understanding of the human experience - both physiological and intuitive - through the lenses of medicine and poetry. Her work focuses on how the two can inform one another, medical knowledge providing a ground for sensory imagery in poetry and poetic language providing sensibility and empathy to a field that often sacrifices these in exchange for efficiency. She is now studying to become a women’s health nurse, and hopes to bridge gaps between art and science in her future practice.
